When you sign in, we receive:

• Your profile photo (if you add one)

Location Data

• We collect your location only when you give permission
• Used to show you nearby listings and place your listings on the map
• You can disable location access anytime in your device settings

Content You Create

• Listings you post (photos, descriptions, produce type)
• Groups you create or join
• Group membership information

How We Use Your Information

• Provide the service — show listings on the map, let you join groups, connect with neighbors
• Display your profile — your name and photo are shown to group members when you post listings
• Improve the app — understand how people use features to make them better
• Send notifications — alert you about new listings or group activity (if you opt in)

Who Sees Your Information

Public Listings

• Visible to all users of the app
• Your approximate location (neighborhood level) is shown on the map
• Your name is not displayed on public listings

Group Listings

• Visible only to members of that group
• Your name and profile photo are shown to group members
• Group members can see your other listings within the group

What We Never Do

• We never sell your data to advertisers or third parties
• We never share your exact address
• We never share your email with other users

Service Providers

We use Convex to store and process your data securely. Convex acts as our data processor and only accesses your data to provide the service.

Your Rights

Access Your Data

You can view all your data in the app — your profile information, listings, and group memberships.

Delete Your Data

You can delete your account at any time:

• Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
• Or email us at [email protected]

When you delete your account, we remove your profile, listings, and group memberships within 30 days.

Data Security

We protect your information using:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Access controls limiting who can see your data

Children's Privacy

Chunky Burps is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
